ART CONTESTS
There are two types of contests:
1.) Official SN Contest - this type is organized by the mods/admins and can offer both prizes from us personally or in-game resources/promo-codes
2.) User Contest - these contests can be many types (clan, art, writting) and offer only prizes from the contest host personally or a guest host in the contest.
User contests CANNOT offer Deerium Coins/items/promo-codes as prizes. Only official contests may do that.
You can't post directly in the Clan and Art Contests Board. First you need to post the contest in the Approval Board and once your contest is approved, it will be moved from the Approval Board to the Contest Board where active contests are held. Approved contests will have a special medal of approval, much like in the RP Board.
INSTRUCTIONS:
* First of all, your contest MUST be approved. Go to the Approval Board and post your contest there first with all the details. Users are not able to reply in the Approval Board, only the contest host can.
* When you write your contest name in the topic subject, please specify on the left what type of contest it is in brackets. For example: [CLAN], [ART], [POEM], [STORY], etc.
* You must clearly define what is the contest about, the contest theme, what the participants should do and/or draw, with references if needed. Also what the prizes are and for how many places. (first, second, third, etc)
* The host chooses what form of art is allowed in the contest; traditional, digital, etc.
* If there are any special characters in the contest or a holiday theme, it must be defined.
* A deadline must be established, but possible extensions of the deadline are possible. If there's an extension, it must be clearly noted.
* How many slots are available. This can be infinite so that as many people can join as they want if the contest host wishes to do so.
* Please define how many entries each participant can submit to the contest. Usually it's one entry per user, but you can set it to more.
* The entries can be with or without background, depending on what the contest host wants.
* The contest host must post all the entries on the top thread.
* The participants can either reply on the contest topic or PM the contest host. The host determines how the entries are submitted.
* The judges are determined by the contest host. Public polls are also permitted for the judging process.
* If it's a clan contest, the host decides if the participants can be all users or ONLY clan members.
* If the contest is more like a small clan game inside their clan topic, it doesn't need to be posted here. But if it's an art contest, it MUST be posted here.
CONTEST RULES:
* Both the contest host and all the participants must be registered users on Sanguine Nightmare.
* We allow all forms of art and writing such as traditional, digital, pixel art, animation, realistic, cartoon, poems, literature, stories, etc.
* Mature, sexual, gore, bloody, violent, propaganda, explicit, racist contents are NOT ALLOWED. We reserve the right to determine if something isn't appropriate for this forum.

* All other contests that have been refused will be locked in the Approval Board.
* Finished contests will be locked after some time has passed, though not immediately after it finishes.
* The contest host has the freedom to define their contest parameters, but only to an extent that it doesn't go against these rules.
